Patrick WateneCo-founder and Executive Director
Patrick served for nearly 9 years as a non-executive director of The Library Project – a highly regarded international non-profit in China and Vietnam. Patrick has more than 20 years in leadership and governance roles across primary sector industries in emerging economies. He has more than 15 years of hands-on experience working with smallholder farmers in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors in China, East Asia and Oceania. He is highly technology literate and founded NexusTech in 2017 to provide affordable smart-tech solutions for SME's and smallholder farmers.
Tom StaderCo-founder
Tom is a social entrepreneur who founded The Library Project in 2006 and Nonprofit Insights in 2018. The Library Project has worked with 3,000 rural elementary schools in China and Vietnam, impacting over a million children and teachers. Nonprofit Insights has supported hundreds of early-stage founders of nonprofit organizations globally. Tom has 20 years of experience growing people within organizations. He believes leadership, empowerment, and training lead to programmatic excellence and impact.
